  4.   In this archive you find two small utilities that allow using joystick
  5. and joypad with the Macintosh emulators ShapeShifter and Emplant (probably
  6. but not tested also AMax IV).
  7.  
  8.   Use MacJoy for joystick and MacJoypad for CD32 joypad.  Read docs to
  9. learn how you can configure them.
  10.  
  11.   Both utilities remap joystick or joypad events to keyboard events.  Since
  12. all mac games give at least keyboard support it is now possible to play
  13. them using these devices.  Try them and you will see that it's exactly like
  14. play an Amiga game with real joystick support.
  15.  
  16.   These utilities probably could be useful also for some Amiga applications
  17. or other emulators, they work for every application that use the Amiga OS.
  18. I did everithing possible to make them compatible and OS friendly.

  20.   Both utilities require Kickstart 2.0 or better.  MacJoypad requires
  21. lowlevel.library in the LIBS:  path; this library is not included since it
  22. is copyright.
